Thread: More abandoned RID Designs

Hi guys, I haven't uploaded anything a while, so I thought I'd share an unused design for Starscream considered for RID. I was trying out a more cartoony look on this one. Was also trying for an alt-mode that made sense for post-war Cybertronian peacetime. So no sign of weaponry.

The jet mode reminds me a lot of Prime Soundwave. I dig it.

ive noticed a fair few designs for alt modes in the comics seen very WFC while others are very sleek and futuristic, this would have been cool, gives starscream a more heroic profile. Pity this wasnT used

Incidentally, has anyone noticed that Starscream's appearance in the RID annual shows a vehicle mode that looks exactly like RID (2001)Storm Jet?

Hey guys, I think the headline in the News posting about this might be a little misleading. I wouldn't say it's the "original" RID design for Starscream, just one that I was trying out.
