Thread: Iron Man 3 Lego Sets in 2013

Not really a surprise, according to the brickshow, Lego will be releasing Iron Man 3 sets in 2013.

SPOILERS AHEAD!!












Looking forward to the prospect of War Machine and Iron Patriot (who isn't Iron Patriot apparently) mini-figs.

That will be nice to see some Ironman sets. I hope they include some random Ironman armour figures.

Oh also looks like the new Superman movie will also be getting some Lego sets. WB sets licensing pacts for 'Man of Steel' - Entertainment News, Film News, Media - Variety

i still find it hilarious when people talk about iron patriot being in it when the filmmakers have said he isnt and the suit was identified as war machine with a homaging paint job. Always quick to jump the gun, slow to fact check

If past movie licences (Indiana Jones, POTC) have been anything to go by, we should get some toys from the previous movies too. With the Mk6 and Mk7 already in the Avengers range, I can see myself putting together a Lego Hall of Armour.

AlphaBigDog: Having a true Iron Patriot in the movies would make no sense, so this'll probably be as close as we get, an homage to the armour. I'm not sure what to reference the suit as..... Patriot Machine? haha.

Omnius: Lets hope we can get a mini hall of armour!! I don't see why lego wouldn't. Not sure how the Megabloks license of the previous movies would affect this though? Wouldn't be hard to shoe horn in the Iron Man armours as most will appear (at least in the background) of Iron Man 3 but I'd love to see a lego Iron Monger and hammer drones.

Right.. so I haven't spent enough on Lego this year.. next year as well
