Members of FullMetalHero.com are expected to abide by the following set of rules; these rules have been put in place to ensure that this stays a fun place to post.

1. THREAD/POST TOPICS
You are free to create threads and posts on any almost subject you want; topics are not limited solely to toys, and many areas of interest have their own forums on here. If a topic does not fit into any of the themed forums on the site, feel free to post it in General Discussion.
There are, however, a few exceptions to what it is okay to talk about.
-Religious talk
-Politics
-Abortion related topics
-Adult or other NSFW (Not Safe For Work) content
are NOT allowed as they almost invariably lead to arguments. This extends to Blog entries as well.
Offending posts or Blog entries will be removed and the author will receive an infraction (more on Infractions further down).
If you want to start a thread but you're unsure if it's suitable, PM a member of staff and they will let you know if it's OK or not.

2. POSTING / CONDUCT ON THE BOARDS
Please make thread titles as clear as possible. This will help to avoid duplicate threads on the same subject. Titles that do NOT clearly and accurately describe the thread's subject will be edited by staff and the poster will be notified; if a poster does this repeatedly infractions will be issued.
If you are replying to multiple posts in the same thread, please put all your replies in the same post. Also if you have recently replied and you see another post in the same thread that you wish to reply to, please use the edit function to add your reply to your existing post.
Thread bumping is limited to once every 3 days.
Trolling and flaming are NOT allowed here under any circumstances. If someone trolls or flames you, please do not respond to them; report their post to us and we will deal with it.
Personal attacks against other Members – including, but not excluded to racist and sexist comments, denigrating religious and political beliefs or personal sexual preferences and orientations – are not welcomed or allowed under ANY circumstances.
Harassment of posters (in posts, Blogs or private messages) is not allowed. If someone is harassing you please let us know immediately.
Spam is not allowed under ANY circumstances, except in the Spammer's Delight forum. Outright spammers and spambots will be removed from the boards immediately. You are free to advertise other sites, but please try to keep such links in your signature.
Offensive language and excessive profanity is also discouraged. Please remember that this is a message board for TOYS, and that as such some of our members are likely to be children.
Posting links to adult material will result in an immediate infraction. Posting adult material ON the boards will result in an immediate and permanent ban.

3. ALT-IDs
Members are allowed to have ONE account here. Anyone found to be using an Alt-ID as well as their main ID will have both IDs banned immediately. Obviously, banned members may not rejoin the site.

4. SIGNATURES
Signature images should be no more than 700 pixels wide x 300 pixels high, and with a maximum filesize of 50Kb. A signature may also contain up to 3 lines of text or links. If your signature is larger than this, please resize it. If you do not do so, your signature will be removed and you will be messaged by a member of staff about it.
If a member's signature is repeatedly found to be over these limits, their signature will be removed. In addition, their ability to have a signature may be removed permanently.

5. INFRACTIONS
Failure to abide by the rules will result in the issuing of infractions.
- A single instance of poor behaviour will result in the issuing of an infraction. An infraction will be valid for a three month period, after which it will no longer be counted.
- Should a Member accumulate three infractions within a three month period, he or she will be subject to a one-week ban from FullMetalHero.com.
- Serious offenses – such as, but not excluded to, direct threats against another Member – will result in three infractions being imposed and a ban implemented with immediate effect.
- Some offenses, including racism, and seriously harmful comments about other Members will be met with a zero-tolerance approach. Members committing such acts will receive an instant and permanent ban from FullMetalHero.com.
- When an infraction is issued, the Staff Member issuing it will contact the recipient directly explaining their reasons. Staff Members will also edit the post that was the root cause for the infraction being issued to remove any content which is in violation of the rules and to explain this edit.
-A member of staff's decision is final.

6. TECHNICAL ISSUES
Posters with technical problems or enquiries relating to the boards are asked to post them in the Site Feedback And help forum.

7. STAFF
Members of staff are picked BY the existing staff. There is no application process, so please do not contact us asking for a position.

All forums get their fair share of spammers, and here at Full Metal Hero we try to catch them as soon as they appear. We manage to get most of them before they even have a chance to post. Every now and then, though, we miss one.
That's where we need your help.

If you see a spam post anywhere on the boards, please us the report function to let us know about it. We try to get onto spammers and ban them as soon as we can, but every now and then one falls through the cracks and posts some form of rubbish on here. If we miss a spammer and no-one tells us they're there, we won't know to deal with them. So if you do see one, please don't take it for granted that someone else is going to have reported them; take a few seconds and report them yourself.

Also, please remember - If a spammer puts a link in a post, DO NOT CLICK IT. It could lead to viruses or other dodgy content that could damage your computer. It's not worth the risk.
